Good afternoon folks. Our weather today was a touch on the hot and sticky side. With less than 5 knots of breeze and some really good fishing, staying hydrated was a must! Today our happy anglers enjoyed more red hot action on the yellowtail. We ended up with our daily limits again on those beautiful 18-25 pound yellows. Last night before dinner, we decided to do some calico bass fishing.
It was a wide open bass bite! Lots of fish from 2-4 pounds and a few bigger. Flyline sardines and mackerel were the ticket, and they were eating the surface iron pretty good as well.Tomorrow we will be fishing our way up the coast in order to be on the tuna grounds the following day. We will be trying for bait again tonight, so wish us luck.
