Windy weather today, but we still were able to make a day of it. AM half day had 40 anglers 72 whitefish 26 rockfish 1 sculpin 27 red snapper 3 salmon grouper PM half day had 28 anglers 27 rockfish 16 red snapper 38 whitefish
Double half day and twilight again tomorrow Sunday April 30. Trips departing at 630am, 1230pm and 630pm Starting Monday May 1st, we return to double half day 7 days a week plus twilight Thursday to Sunday nights. Twilights we will have a bass tournament.

The Tribute out of Seaforth Landing had a great day of fishing today for Bluefin today. Boated 2 out many many hookups on the flatfall. Those 2 along with 11 yellows was our day. Bring a 50 pound 2 speed rod for the flatfalls in 160 to 250 gram and a 40 pound rod for the sinker rig. Add a lighter rod for the yellows.

Marcus checking in from the New Lo-An out of Point Loma Sportfishing. Good fishing today with lots of opportunity on bluefin tuna from 60 to 95 fish. Good action and Marcus is live below to tell you all about it.

The 1/2 day Redondo Special checking in as they had two 1/2 day trips out today. The morning run picked up 134 rockfish, 22 whitefish, 1 sheehead, and 50 dabs. The afternoon run sacked 72 rockfish and 1 sheephead for the 15 anglers.

Hooks landing checking in today with 2 boats out. The Coroloma came in with 41 anglers catching 380 rockfish, 30 reds, 4 lings, and 57 whitefish. The New Hustler picked up 180 reds, 30 rockfish, 2 lings, and 2 sole for 21 anglers.

Well good afternoon mid day report for the malihini 24 anglers, they have landed one 70 pound bluefin tuna, 1 100+ pound blue fin tuna and have boated 11 yellow tail So far. Capt mike Z said they have hooked 7 of these bigger fish but have only managed to boat two of these big fish. Tackle malfunctions hooked on the wrong gear the list goes on and on, final report later today.

It's been a great week of fishing aboard the Pacific Queen. Although the Bluefin Tuna have not been the easiest to come by there has definitely been no shortage of fish. Today it seemed like the big ones wanted to bite a little bit, however our success rate was poor. The guys ended up with 4 Bluefin Tuna, two of which were over 100lbs, and 1 Opah weighing in at 116lbs.
