Started the morning with loading up on mackeral for bait. The dorado fishing was excellent. 20 to 35 pound fish in typical dorado fashion. Wide Open! Finding smaller tuna offshore hoping to bump into some bigger fish. Very nice weather!!

Shon checked in for the Pride out of 22nd Street Sportfishing. We started out loading up on squid then went looking for seabass. We saw lots of signs of them but never caught one. We did have incredible halibut fishing and ended our overnight with 4 barracuda, 38 halibut, 11 calico Bass, 6 whitefish, and 1 bonito for our 16 anglers. We will be targeting halibut and seabass on our upcoming trips. Shon has the fish report for you below.

Incredible Lobster fishing continues! We haven’t had a season like this in years. Now's the time to get your Holiday Lobster aboard the Gail Force, Triton, or Sport King. We have availability all this coming week Hooping Catalina Island.

Boats depart at 12pm returning around Midnight. Trips are limited to 10 passengers at $195 per person with all your Lobster gear included.

TJ checked in for the Eldorado out of Long Beach Sportfishing. We're doing our rockfishing here at the end of the year. It was a pretty good day on the water. The weather is phenomenal, and it is an absolutely gorgeous day. We started in the shallows fishing whitefish and sheephead. We put 150 whitefish on the boat for our 26 passengers, then ended up finding a good amount of rockfish. All in all, it was a great day with near bag limits.
